BAFTS Fairtrade Network UK

The shop and our suppliers have to meet criteria set out by BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK, which is the national network member of the World Fair Trade Organization. These are based on the ten principles of fair trade which can be found on a separate page.

To do this, we:

• Buy products from established Fair Trade importers who comply with BAFTS' aims
• Pay fair prices
• Make sure the majority of our goods, consistently over 70%, are stocked from Fair Trade sources
• Have high quality products
• Provide excellent customer care
• Ensure equal opportunities for all staff
• Campaign and get involved with education work
